About our Annual Sheep NightsEach year we host an annual sheep night in collaboration with Central Murray BestWool BestLamb in the township of Wakool.
These nights are an opportunity for sheep producers to gather and hear from industry experts on trending topics in the sheep industry. It also is an opportunity to down tools and get off the farm and catch up with their peers, an important aspect of maintaining a healthy work and life balance within a demanding profession. Over the years, topics from guest speakers have included business planning, driving more profit from your flock, genetics and breeding parameters and the use of ASBVs to work towards generating the "perfect sheep". A case study/event summary of these events have been provided below. |
