2024 saw us celebrate our 21st anniversary, with a focus on fostering partnerships, welcoming new members, and pursuing strategic projects.
Recently, we welcomed Wendy McDonald to the Board and Luke Ward as a new employee, while bidding farewell to several dedicated members.
In 2025, WMLIG will prioritise natural capital initiatives like the Landscape Impact Program, industrial hemp projects through Murray Industrial Hemp, and economic development efforts such as Murray Connect and the Barham Agri-precinct.
Additionally, we are preparing applications for the Sustainable Communities Program to support initiatives like agri-innovation and biofertilisers, aiming to drive regional growth and resilience.......

We are a not-for-profit group and charity based in Barham, NSW, that gives our community a voice in it's growth, environment, wellbeing and future.
