Practical Use of Vaccines

A Central Murray BestWool Best Lamb and Western Murray Land Improvement Group event presented by Heidi Sutherland, Zoetis. presenting on best practice and practical use of vaccines at lamb marking and weaning. 
Topics will include:

• Why we should have an annual vaccination and drench program for our flocks.
• What are the benefits of an organized program and what are the negative costs to production and animal welfare of not having program?
• Discussion about best practice, management and the practical use of vaccines and drench at lamb marking and weaning.
• Correct techniques that avoid injury to sheep and lambs, infections carcass damage and ensure the full benefits of available vaccines.
• Continued vaccination and drench program for the lifetime of the ewe
